Recycling Oil: The New Project of Boom 2008
"Your Oil Is Music" is a pioneer project held by the Boom Festival in cooperation with the City Council of Idanha-a-Nova. We've started collecting the vegetable used oil that is being used in the cities and villages around Boom venue. We’ll recycle the oil in about 6,000 houses covering a population of 12,000 people. The oil will fuel the generators of Boom, thus reducing the carbon emission to the atmosphere. Additionally we’re avoiding the used oil to be thrown away - one liter of oil pollutes one million liters of water
